Create a Venn diagram.

You will need
Magazines, pictures of a variety of animals, scissors, glue, coloured pencils.
There is a sheet of animal heads available in the download which you may wish to use.

Instructions
Find pictures of a variety of animals in either magazines, google images or you could draw and label them.
Sort, using the Venn diagram, into animals which are pets, animals that we would find in the wild or on a farm and animals that we could find in the wild or on a farm that could also be pets.
Stick them into the correct area.

Create a pet story and make turn it into a book.

You will need
Photographs of your family pet and of your family, scissors, glue, paper, pens, pencils staples.

Instructions
Ask your parents to help you find some photo of your pet and the family.
Write some simple sentences about your pet.
These could include
  • Your pets name, what they look like and how old it is.
  • What happened when your pet came home for the very first time?
  • Activities they like to do with their pet.
  • Something funny that has happened with your pet.
Stick the photos or drawings onto the pages.
Bind the pages into a book using a stapler or hole punch.
